Chief Anderson has been in his role and with the City of Morehead since 2009. Since that time, he helped with the transition of a fully volunteer staff to hiring 6 full time firefighters with additional part time & volunteers. He oversees the ongoing 100 hours plus training for our firefighters each year, and works with local developers and business owners with safety plans of operation. In Chief’s spare time, he responds to emergencies as a first responder and serves as the 9th District Vice-President of the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs.
