MOREHEAD, Ky.—
A new Starbucks is coming to the Morehead area, officials said Friday morning. The new business will be located near the I-64 exit. The multinational chain, known for its coffee, tea, and espresso concoctions, will be at 475 Hampton Way. The business will also have a drive-through.
Developers Mike Wiles of Paducah, KY, and Eric Brewer of Lexington, KY, stated that construction is set to begin mid-October. Wiles and Brewer are recent developers for the newly-built Starbucks in Murray, KY, as well as the Winchester location that opened in 2019.
A planned opening is set for late April 2021.
